Title: Assistant County Attorney
Paunece “Neecie” Scull joined the County Attorney’s Office in October 2018 with 14 years of experience practicing law in Florida. Scull represents the County in Code Compliance prosecutions and in civil litigation.
She previously was employed by the 16th Judicial Circuit as the Director of Case Management. Prior to her employment with the court, she was an Assistant State Attorney in Monroe County for 10 years. In that position she prosecuted all levels of offenses. Prior to her service in Monroe County, Scull was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May in Tampa, FL from January 2004 through January 2007.
In May 2001, Scull graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Scull earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in December 2003.
Scull was admitted to the Florida Bar in February 2004.
