The Monroe County Hurricane Placard Reentry Program is available to agencies with representation at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). These agencies can obtain early reentry placards for its employees from Monroe County Emergency Management.
Businesses or organizations willing to provide services essential to the recovery of the Florida Keys may apply for inclusion through the Business Hurricane Placard Reentry Program.
The placard program enrollment period for the 2020 hurricane season is March 1st through May 29th, 2020. A link to the application will be available in this space throughout the enrollment period.
ALL APPLICATIONS must be received by May 29th, 2020.
The applications will be reviewed and you will be contacted by Emergency Management within 21 working days.
IF APPROVED: You will be given instructions on how to get your placards in an email.
IF NOT APPROVED: You will receive an email that will include the reason the application was not approved. There will also be an opportunity to address the issues and resubmit the application.

Monroe Emergency Reserve Corps (MERC)
