UPDATE:

In an effort to maintain safety, until further notice, all in office operations will be closed at least 14 days. We welcome you to call or email the staff, so we can continue to work on items that do not require in office work. 

We will NOT be accepting new applications for the Planning & Environmental Resources Department, unless specified below, until further notice. Staff will continue to process previously-submitted applications, unless otherwise indicated below, as staff resources working out of office are available. Any existing application that requires public meetings/hearings will not be moved to public meeting/hearing until further notice. Existing applications that require in-person site visits or inspections will not be processed until further notice. Please contact staff via email or phone (staff directory) if you have questions about your specific application.

 

APPEALS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION –

We will continue to accept new applications BY EMAIL in order to meet appeal deadlines, but applications will not be processed until we are able to receive payment and hard copy original submissions, and until public hearings are back in session. All application materials must be submitted BY EMAIL to Aguila-ilze@monroecounty-fl.gov. We will contact you regarding payment and original documents when we are able to receive them.

DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS (DOAH) APPEALS –

TEMPORARY NON-EMERGENCY HOUSING (SITE SECURITY FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS) –

We will continue to accept new applications BY EMAIL, but may not be able to proceed to required public meetings/hearings.
